Description

Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz, a German from Leipzig born in 1646, distinguished himself as a philosopher, mathematician and political advisor. He is famous for his works on metaphysics and logics as well as for inventing the differential and integral calculus. For a greater part of his life, he served the dukes of Braunschweig-Lüneburg and Hannover.
